As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager's individual performance, and available funding.Incumbent will be Team Manager for the Operational Evaluation Team in the Quality Control Group in Eastern Service Center.
Duties
Directs the work of the subordinate employees and/or manages for multiple organizational units/projects/programs across multiple function and/or disciplines within a major subdivision. Duties typically include: strategic planning, communicating the organization's vision and objectives, setting priorities, assigning tasks and responsibilities, monitoring and evaluating performance of organizational units, coaching and developing staff and organizational capabilities, approving leave, and taking, recommending, or approving corrective/disciplinary action as appropriate.

- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year (52
weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-J, FG/GS-14 level. Specialized experience is experience
that has equipped you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position
and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.
Specialized Experience: Experience gained by separating and controlling air traffic in a FAA or Department of Defense air traffic facility that has provided applicants with comprehensive knowledge of appropriate air traffic control laws, rules, and regulations.Experience which demonstrates understanding the purpose, function, and interrelationships of FAA and Air Traffic Organization (ATO) organizational components, functions, and operations; and FAA and ATO priorities, plans, procedures and policies.You should include relevant examples of the specialized experience in your work history.
