This position is a Full-time seasonal position located with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Superintendent, Blackfeet Agency, Facilities Management, in Browning, Montana.

NOTE:
TRAVEL AND RELOCATION EXPENSES WILL NOT BE AUTHORIZED. ANY RELOCATION EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH REPORTING FOR DUTY WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE SELECTED EMPLOYEE.
Duties
The purpose of this position is to perform maintenance duties in facility operations, maintaining office buildings, shops, residential dwellings, and buildings and grounds for which the Bureau is responsible to maintain. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Electrical, Plumbing, Boiler maintenance, and repairs.
Heating equipment maintenance, and repairs
Grounds keeping maintenance, and repairs
Carpentry projects
Roofing maintenance, and repairs.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Job Element 1: Screen-out Element - Ability to do the work of the position without more than normal supervision: You have performed Maintenance Worker tasks in a general nature necessary for the proper operation, maintenance and repair of buildings, sheds, and facilities, water and heating systems, pumps, fans or motors, or other equipment. Including carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, plastering and other trades, gas and electrical welding and the operation of motor vehicle and composable & equipment. Sub-journeyman skills in a variety of crafts.
Job Element 25-E: Technical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic)
Job Element 82-A: Knowledge of Materials
Job Element 75-A: Ability to Interpret Instructions, Specifications, etc. (includes blueprinting reading)
Job Element 81 and 60: Ability to Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment; and Use of Measuring Instruments.
