This position will serve as the on-site point of contact for R3 Regional Security Office for security program implementation. Assisting Regional Security Officer in promoting security awareness. Issues HSPD-12 credentials (PIV cards). Aiding the Regional Security Officer in monitoring access control, alarms, and video surveillance systems.

Qualifications

All qualifications and eligibility requirements must be met by the closing date of the announcement. To qualify for this position at the IC-09 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the IC-07 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the Federal or Private Sector and must demonstrate all of the following:  Specialized experience for this position includes: Performing administrative functions related to organization security.  Communicating programs, policies, and procedures to a variety of stakeholders, and Assisting with administrative functions. OR master's or equivalent graduate degree  or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree  or LL.B. or J.D. OR Combination of education and experience  You qualify for this position at the IC-11 level, if you possess the following: One full year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade (IC-09) in the Federal Service.  This experience may have been gained in the federal government, a state or local government, a non-profit organization, the private sector, or as a volunteer; however, your resume must clearly describe at least one year of specialized experience.  Specialized experience for this position includes: Implementing security concepts, principles, processes and practices,  Researching policy to identify problems and recommend solutions, and Processing/tracking actions through various automated systems such as (Microsoft Office, SharePoint, other related programs).
