You will serve as a Production Controller in the Naval Facilities Engineering Command within the requirements Branch Service Desk Team, Facilities Maintenance Division, at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Hawaii. A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 9.28% will be added to the stated salary.

Duties

You will use a reporting system and management information to report current trends, job status, expenditures, backlog, work in progress, and completions. You will create project management and/or preventive maintenance job plans to address cost, scheduling, and work performance. You will interpret policies, regulations, instructions, or procedures governing production operations to prioritize preventive maintenance, emergency, urgent, routine work and/or projects. You will determine and implement changes to schedules, priorities, and resources to balance workload with production capability and capacity. You will create cost estimates, production plans, job plans, and schedules to verify projects and/or preventive maintenance meet established production timelines and requirements. You will develop project and/or preventive maintenance technical documents (e.g., cost estimates, bills of material, production processes, production schedule) to meet projects goals.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Knowledge and understanding of the various facility trades in the Production / Utilities / transportation Divisions of NAVFAC HI. 2) A working knowledge of Production Control procedures and the Maximo Work Order Management system / DOD Cooperate type work induction systems.3) Knowledge of the various facilities service contracts and demarcations of various systems covered by contracts and NAVFAC Hawaii in-house shops. 4) Knowledge and ability to identify Emergency or Urgent work versus Routines, recurring or specific work, to screen work input for customer guidance / requirements, and / or to otherwise execute actions required. 5) Knowledge of various computer software applications, e.g., MAXIMO, (to input emergency work orders, project data, etc.), MS Project, Work Manager, Office Suite and Data Base systems for data entry and queries. 6) Comprehensive knowledge of standard operating procedures for an emergency type Service Call Desk.
