You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Regional Fuel Department of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR JACKSONVILLE.
Duties
You will obtain, analyze, summarize and maintain data regarding the petroleum storage and handling facilities for the department in spreadsheets, databases and other appropriate digital media in order to recommend solutions.
You will maintain data on long range fuel distribution and storage planning, equipment modernization and continuity of management direction over an extensive geographical operational area.
You will review standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the Fuels terminals and makes recommendations for improvements and changes to the Regional Fuels Officer for best practices/standardization.
You will track current metrics for each fuel distribution facility, to include the status of facilities/equipment and estimated days until out-of-service facilities/equipment is returned to service.
You will assist the Director in formulation of long-range petroleum inventory management and fuels accounting/recordkeeping policies, goals, scopes of operation and objectives.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying fact-finding, analytical and evaluative techniques to identify, consider, and develop new or modified work methods, organizational structures, records/files, management processes, and/or procedures for fuels programs. Examples of Specialzied experience include: 1) Maintain data on long range fuel distribution and storage planning, equipment modernization and continuity of management direction over an extensive geographical operational area; 2) Review standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the Fuels terminals and make recommendations for improvements and changes to Fuels Officer for best practices/standardization; 3) Track current metrics for each fuel distribution facility, to include the status of facilities/equipment and estimated days until out-of-service facilities/equipment is returned to service; and 4) Develop operational impact statements to explain such potential changes.
