You will serve as a INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the ???????PROGRAM MANAGEMENT DIVISION of MAINTENANCE CENTER ALBANY.

Duties
You will conduct a detailed examination of work in process to analyze work effectiveness.
You will analyze data to determine if production delays, scheduling conflicts, insufficient material, or personnel staffing issues exist.
You will evaluate facility maintenance and repair programs to ensure worker safety.
You will communicate with diverse audiences to resolve difficult or controversial issues.
You will work with coordinator, engineering, and planning personnel to facilitate required inspections and ensure they are completed and documented.
You will use computer software applications to document engineering technical work, compile data, or prepare reports.
Requirements

- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- You may be required to work overtime.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: gathering and analyzing data to: develop standardized work procedures, establish and maintain bills of material, AND plan formulate and develop future requirements for multiple production plants.
