Qualifications
What are we looking for?Minimum of two-year culinary arts degree, with three years' experience, one year at supervisory level OR four years¿ work experience as an Executive Chef. Prefer individuals with Certified Executive Chef (CEC) or Certified Chef de Cuisine (CCC) certification that have a strong Hotel, Conference/Convention Center, and/or Contract experience.Professional knowledge and experience in the principles, practices and procedures of food management of a multi-facility food operation. Experience as a chef in a full-service restaurant using a variety of food preparation techniques, recipe specifications and development.Ability to perform routine management functions such as planning, scheduling, maintaining records/reports, and coordination of the Club's food services, demonstrating a thorough knowledge of basic principles, techniques, and practices required for a successful operation. Must be thoroughly familiar with sanitation and proper food protection procedures.Must have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.Must be effective in dealing with high level dignitaries from all military branches, as well as local, state, and federal agencies.
