Serves as a Management Analyst in the Plans, Operations and Policy Directorate of the Consolidated Adjudication Services. Assists Deputy Director by providing evaluation and advice on the effectiveness and efficiency of program operations and proposed changes. Supports and/or develops, analyzes, reviews and recommends plans, strategies, positions, and operational proposals for senior level decision-makers. Accomplishes a wide variety of assignments concerning effectiveness and efficiency.
Duties
As a MANAGEMENT ANALYST you will be responsible for the following duties:
This position is open to all U.S. Citizens who live or reside in the Fort Meade local commuting area, which includes the District of Columbia and Baltimore City; Maryland counties of Anne Arundel, Prince George, Montgomery, Howard, Harford, Charles, Calvert, Carroll, Frederick and Baltimore; Adams County in Pennsylvania; City of Alexandria, VA; Virginia counties of Arlington, Stafford, Prince William, and Fairfax and all cities existing in Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania within the geographic area bounded by the outer boundaries of the combined areas of the aforementioned counties.

Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.
You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GS/GG-11 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility.
Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes:
Applying a comprehensive range of quantitative and qualitative methods and techniques;
Creating and presenting briefings and presentation materials both oral and written;
Performing analytical and evaluative work;
Planning, scheduling and conducting projects;
Analyzing changes in programs and technological developments;
Using considerable judgment and discretion to interpret and apply requirements;
Independently planning, coordinating, and prioritizing tasks, and initiating action as mission demands;
And using various data sources to accurately respond to customer inquiries.
