You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Analytics and Modeling Office; Corporate Operations & Total Force Directorate of NAVAL SEA SYSTEMS COMMAND.
This position is part of the Acquisition Personnel Demonstration Project. NH-03 is equivalent to GS-12/13.
Duties
You will serve as management advisor using a high-level of discernment and judgment to address a wide variety of interrelated subject matter, that can include financial, contractual, programmatic, or other program office focus areas.
You will execute program plans to achieve milestones and requirements for the full scope of activities associated with acquisition issues.
You will ensure program schedules are met within workforce and fiscal resources.
You will provide long-range plans for the cost, performance, and schedule of diverse teams within the scope of assigned areas, exercising significant judgment to establish priorities.
You will establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate projects concerning the development, installation, integration, and testing, relative to the acquisition process.
You will analyze requirements to develop program reporting, including the specifications, data gathering and analytical techniques, and evaluation methodology.
You will lead studies, surveys, reviews, and/or research projects to evaluate program accomplishments, effectiveness, and/or compliance with meeting specific goals, objectives, rules, and regulations.
You will brief senior leadership and make recommendations based on findings.
You will develop evaluation plans, metrics, procedures, and methodology as a result of studies performed.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay-band NH-02 (GS-11 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector conducting quantitative or qualitative analysis of acquisition, contracting, financial, or programmatic functions for Department of Defense warfare programs or systems.
