Duties

You will ensure system of record is correctly accounting for inventory, identifies and assists in resolving discrepancies, and improving system operations and efficiencies. You will conduct oversight of management of inventory in warehouses, shop stores (to include truck stocks), and staging areas. You will assist supply branch staff in developing work methods, techniques, and desk guides to improve the accuracy of inventory records. You will coordinate with PWD staff and counterparts at the facilities engineering command on inventory accuracy issues, data calls, and reports. You will develop inventory plans for supervisor's approval.

Requirements

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Utilizing inventory skills to track inventory, perform cycle counts, material ordering and replenishment, shop stores/warehouse receiving and receipting. 2. Performing data analysis by reviewing metrics and performance, evaluating the data, and making informed decisions on actions toward improvement. 3. Providing customer service by meeting the needs of internal and external customers, and providing products and services to customers 4. Communicating both oral and written to clearly, concisely, and effective convey information as needed to target audience. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, the education listed below can be utilized to meet minimum qualifications:

Master's or equivalent graduate degree

or

2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.B. or J.D., if related

or

Have a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
