You will serve as a NDT INSPECTOR SUPV II in the QUALITY ASSURANCE DEPARTMENT, NON-DESTRUCTION TEST DIVISION, OPERATIONS BRANCH (Code 135.1) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.

Duties

You will implement standards and specifications for Nondestructive testing (NDT); developing NDT methods, procedures and techniques. You will exercise Total Quality Leadership to continuously improve work processes. You will provide oversight on all supervisors with emphasis on Ultra sonic (UT) / Radiography (RT) program. You will communicate Equal Opportunity (EEO) policies and support to subordinates. You will monitor workloads, training schedules, qualifications, leave schedules to ensure sufficient and adequate inspector, equipment, facility and tooling resources are available to meet workloads.

• Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
