About the Position: This position is located within the Blanchfield Army Community Hospital, Fort Campbell, Tennessee. The incumbent will review, manage, process, and track referrals to specialists in either the direct care system (DCS) or purchased care system. Incumbent is delegated full authority for program operations to include 1st line supervision of subordinates engaged in patient liaison as well as health benefits and enrollment issues.

Duties

Responsible for improving the referral reconciliation efforts to include Military Treatment Facility/Network referral utilization as well as MTF/Network referral results getting returned. Maintain direct communication and recommend improvements with the Managed Care Support Contractor (MCSC) Medical Management Department, TRICARE Service Center (TSC) Referral Management Center Liaison (RMCL), and TSC Site Manager. Perform monitoring and tracking of referrals in the Direct Care System (DCS) and the purchased care system ensuring referrals meet the TRICARE access standards. Responsible for monitoring, executing, and improving the MTF referral reconciliation process, with the dual intent of improving the utilization rates of all MTF/Network referrals. Serve as the Command designated central MTF POC for coordination with the Military Medical Support Office (MMSO) on behalf of Active-Duty Service Members (ADSM) and their beneficiaries. Establish performance objectives, evaluates performance and renders official performance appraisals. Keep employees informed on related personnel management policies and programs. Identify training and developmental opportunities of employees and arranges for employees to attend training.
