Duties
You will receive and distribute work assignments and projects to subordinates in the ordnance support section.
You will inspect complete work and work in progress to ensure that high quality work standards are met.
You will be required to possess the computer skills and knowledge necessary to perform the administrative and maintenance management functions and procedures within the current automated information systems and software programs.
You will provide on-the-job technical guidance, coordination, and leadership of a work group.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final CONFIDENTIAL security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be responsible for the accountability of tools that are issued to them.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- You will be required to work independently.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be required to follow security measures to include, but not limited to the operation of an Intrusion Detection System (IDS), also be able to use and comply with ARMORY SECURITY MANUAL, OPNAV-5530.
- You must be able to lift/carry 50 pounds.
- The incumbent works in sitting position for extended periods of time. Assignments involve standing, bending, and stooping in cramped or awkward positions. Close eye and hand coordination is required in fitting and repairing parts.
- You will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided and personnel will be required to wear it.
- You will be responsible for cleaning the work area, maintaining a neat and orderly work environment.
- At times the employee may be assigned additional duties
Qualifications
