About the Position: This position is in the Defense Health Agency (DHA), Medical Logistics Enterprise Activity (MEDLOG) and it is located in Fort Detrick, Maryland.
This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Duties
Provide property management and medical equipment maintenance management expertise.
Responsible for the planning, directing, and coordinating of property management and medical equipment maintenance management issues.
Demonstrate a broad knowledge of the technology associated with the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) System,
specifically DMLSS-Equipment Module (DMLSSEM), and other required property related policies and procedures.
Serve as a functional logistics expert and works closely with other functional personnel to resolve complex problems with recommended changes required in property management and medical equipment maintenance management.
Serve as a MEDLOG staff action officer for a broad range of property management actions that impact or have the potential to impact SRMC activities.
Assist the Senior Equipment Maintenance/Management Specialist with planning, scheduling, staffing, coordinating, directing, implementing, and managing the total Medical Equipment Maintenance Management and Clinical Engineering Program.
Assist the Equipment Management Specialist and provides oversight of the Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss program.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) assisting in planning medical equipment maintenance, 2) participating in the oversight of property management and/or accountability, AND 3) utilizing automated logistical systems for medical equipment property and/or maintenance such as the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) System. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
