This position is located at Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Deputy Commissioner Transformation & Modernization. As a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst (Division Director), you will promote the adoption of new technologies and business practices to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and service quality of financial management.
Duties
As a/an Supervisory Management and Program Analyst (Division Director), you will:
Plan, organize, and direct the work of FIT, as well as providing direction on all matters under the functional responsibility of FIT.
Work closely with senior leaders across the Fiscal Service, government, industry, and academia to identify strategic innovative opportunities.
Provide authoritative advice and leadership on the identification and testing of emerging technologies and capabilities.
Design and implement plans to educate and bring awareness across Fiscal Service of emerging technology and capabilities, problems, methods, solutions, and lessons learned.
Promote innovation programs and plans to internal and external audiences.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Specialized Experience: For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
Experience evaluating and testing emerging technology and capabilities and advising senior leaders on evaluation findings; AND
Experience collaborating and making strategic recommendations to senior executives on improving federal financial management; AND
Experience engaging with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Federal agencies, industry, academia) to carry out innovation initiatives.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-15, you must have been at the GS-14 level for 52 weeks.
