This position is located at Fort Shafter Bowling Center in Fort Shafter, Hawaii (Island of Oahu). This position is eligible for Sunday premium pay and night differential as applicable. Duties

Assists patrons in use of the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instruction, demonstrating new equipment, teaching classes, etc. Plans, conducts, publicizes and arranges support for special events, social activities, tournaments and related functions. In a patron usage facility, circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory; Receives and resolves customer complaints. Provides information and general instructions on the use of equipment, facilities and machinery. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A one year probationary period may be required.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Work experience which involved dealing with the general public. Resume MUST clearly reflect the knowledge and experience listed under the minimum qualifications criteria above. Highly Preferred Criteria: Must have ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Must be able to lift 15 lbs. Work experience which provides a basic knowledge and understanding of bowling center operations including the rules related to bowling, leagues and tournaments is desirable. Work experience in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit of other processing of cash items when this includes direct handling of cash items, and use of cash accountability and control methods. **To be evaluated as a highly qualified candidate, your resume MUST clearly reflect the knowledge and experience listed under the highly qualified and minimum qualifications criteria above.** Applicants who meet both minimum qualifications and highly preferred criteria will be sent to the hiring manager first.
