This position is located at Hooper Bowling Center. The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is Fort Campbell and surrounding areas. (Military Spouse Preference (MSP) and Involuntary Separated Military Preference (ISMP) eligible candidates are included in the area of consideration.) This is a "Flexible" position (0-40 hours) with no eligibility to participate in the NAF Employee Benefits Plans.

Duties

Sets up bars for operation. Assures an adequate stock level is maintained. Skill in mixing drinks using alcoholic beverages, beer and soda. Prepares a limited variety of simple alcoholic beverages as requested by patrons and wait staff. Ability to recognize intoxicated and unruly patrons. Keeps bar and work area clean and sanitary. Applies simple arithmetic in calculating bills and making change. Ability to recognize intoxicated and unruly patrons. Records sales and makes change or prepares charge slips. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check
• Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
• Must meet meet state/local age requirements (18) for the serving of alcoholic beverage at the time of appointment
• Successful completion of a pre-employment physical is required for this position. Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds. Stands for prolonged periods.
• Must be able to work during the hours of operation to include nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

Qualification Requirements are: 1. Meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic at the time of appointment. 2. Be able to lift and carry weights up to 20 pounds. 3. Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory. 4. Skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.
