This position is located in the National Passport Center, Passport Services, Bureau of Consular Affairs (CA/PPT/NPC)
Duties
Responsible for the assembly of information and compilation of reports dealing with production
figures, staff levels, aging data, status of projects, and cost of operations.
Designs and develops qualitative and quantitative studies in support of management production
requirements.
Coordinates the tracking, developing, and implementing of the goals, objectives, and priorities established by agency management.
Serves as the agency's document control officer responsible for ensuring local guidance and SOPs are update and relevant, specifically in the absence of standardized organizational guidance.
Designs and develops qualitative and quantitative studies in support of management production requirements.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Incumbent will be subject to random drug testing.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- This position requires shift work.
Qualifications
Applicants must meet all the required qualification requirements described below by the closing date of this announcement.
NOTE: Applicants must meet time-in-grade and time after competitive appointment requirements, by the closing date of this announcement.
Time-In-Grade Requirements: Federal applicants must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade to satisfy time-in-grade restrictions, per 5CFR 300, Subpart F.
Specialized Experience: Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position.
Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience analyzing and measuring the effectiveness, and efficiency associated with a passport operating program and/or administrative programs.
Experience in preparing project and report papers and delivering briefings.
There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-12 position.
