The Cook position with Aces High Bowling Center will primarily work night and weekend hours.
This position is considered flexible. You are guaranteed 0 hours, however could work up to 40 hours per week.
Incumbent is subject to working an uncommon tour of duty to include all shifts to include days, nights, weekends, holidays and special events.
This position starts at the lowest pay rate and may increase with satisfactory performance and longevity.
Duties
Sets up recreation areas for scheduled activities; records attendance; takes reservations and payment for food, prepackaged snacks, liquor products, pro shop items, bowling lanes, shoes and party operations.
Notifies participants of schedule changes; arranges for equipment and facilities to be serviceable and available for use, charging them out to participants, and checking them for condition on their return; decorates and cleans center for special events, activities, or parties.
Checks the established safety system of the bowling center and areas, tools, and equipment; posts announcements of scheduled activities and answers inquiries about matters related to activities scheduled; conducts daily inventories of supplies and equipment; and helps with group activities which require more than one staff monitor, performing specifically assigned tasks.
Operates cash register, rings up the sale, receives money and makes change, processes credit card sales, or charges member's account. At the end of each shift, clears the cash register and turns over cash and supporting documents as instructed. Maintains area in a clean and orderly condition.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.

Qualifying Experience:
Practical knowledge of recreational activities, rules, and procedures. Ability to safeguard and handle cash and skill in the use and maintenance of various recreational equipment and facilities are desirable; however, no experience is required.
