You will serve as a ELECTRONIC INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC LEADER in the MARINE DEPOT MAINTENANCE COMMAND of MCLC ALBANY GA.

Duties

You will estimate and request personnel in accordance with workload requirements. You will read, interpret and comply with blueprints, schematics, drawings, written diagrams, technical manuals, as well as other work orders, publications and directives, authorized field changes policies and procedures. You will direct personnel teams in rebuilding, repairing, modify and testing the operations of radars. You will assure compliance with work standards, technical instructions, production schedules and quality standards. You will enforces safety, fire and other regulations pertaining to work practices. You will conduct regular inspections of work area to ensure that good housekeeping practices are being observed. You will maintain records as necessary and notify the supervisor to undesirable conditions.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

  • You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment and annual physical examination.
  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
  • This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.

I am considered an expert or I am consulted by other employees in difficult situations.
