This position is located with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Southwest Region, Division of Land Titles and Records in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The incumbent will lead employees in the recording, imaging, extracting and data entry of documents.

Duties
Responsible in providing the custody, maintenance, use and certification of title documents. May also be assigned in the recording, imaging, extracting and data entry of documents.
Assures the work assignments of other employees are carried out in distributing and balancing the workload with established work flow or current priorities, assuring timely accomplishment.
Record and disseminate incoming document packages and enter data into the Trust Asset Accounting Management System (TAAMS) database.
Quality controls all work completed to include administrative corrections from defects in the probate file, processing of new probate files and global ID number changes.
Assist and provides on the job training for new employees pertaining to procedures, policies, and directives.
Requirements

Qualifications
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: (OPM Operating Manual, Qualification Standards for Clerical and Administrative Support Positions, GS-0986).
For GS-07: I year specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-6 grade level in the Federal service which involved the review, audit, and examination of land titles and records which includes recording and
processing. Analyze and interpret title documents for completion and accuracy for recording in the imaging
repository system. Preparing and processing documents in the data system.

Merit Promotion candidates must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the announcement closing date.
