You will serve as an Administrative Support Assistant (Data Manager) in the Quality Assurance Department of SUPSHIP GULF COAST.
Duties
You will administer management information and work flow systems as they relate to quality assurance, testing and production control elements of the SUP SHIP Gulf Coast Contract Administration Assurance responsibilities.
You will enter inspection notifications into a call-log database for tracking purposes. Build and maintains trackers for Compartments, Tanks, Voids, and Corrective Action Request (CARs), and Assemble Compartment Completion Inspection (CCI) packages.
You will file Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) and maintains records on new construction ships from start of fabrication through delivery and beyond.
You will perform ongoing activities related to the data integrity function to improve the quality and accuracy of the information retrieval systems data and functionality.
You will build and provide graphical presentations of statistical data, as well as composite material involving data and other types of material for briefings, publications, and routine reports.
You will maintain quality check lists and other data quality reports via hard copy and other electronic media; Such data must be readily available for retrieval and use by all levels of the organization and other agencies as appropriate.
You will develop and manage reports for data capture and data quality improvement activities relating to a wide range of Navy information reporting systems.
You will conduct receipt inspection, purchase order review, and provides Letters of Delegation for inspection at source sites.
You will assist in the performance of field audits relating to contractors quality management system and quality plan to determine compliance, non-compliance and opportunities for process and procedure improvements.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-06 or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing administrative support (e.g. data management, receiving calls and visitors, development of correspondence, and ordering supplies) to ensure the efficiency operation of an organization.
