You will serve as a MUSICAL INSTRUMENT REPAIR LEADER of NAVY MUSIC PROG MGMT.

Duties

You will be responsible for maintenance and repair of brass and woodwind musical instruments in the Fleet Band Activities inventory You will provide Fleet Band Activities with the capability to evaluate, maintain, and repair professional grade musical instruments of all types to include handmade artisan instruments of unique design. You will execute the full spectrum of repair procedures on all types of professional woodwind and brass instruments You will have a working knowledge of the safe and proper use and storage of hazardous materials used in instrument repair (i.e. acetylene, lead/silver solder, solder flux, adhesives, lubricants, solvents, cleansers, etc).

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
