This position is located in the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), at the Northern Arizona VA Health Care System (NAVAHCS), located in Prescott, AZ. This position is part of Facilities Maintenance Section of Facilities Management Service. The primary purpose of the Air Conditioning Equipment Mechanic is to perform maintenance, repairs, and installations covered by the HVAC Shop throughout the medical center.

Duties

The journeyman Air Conditioning Equipment Mechanic performs maintenance, repair, installation, modification, overhaul, trouble shooting and makes adjustments to complex heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment throughout the Medical Center.
