This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Systems Engineering Division. The incumbent serves as a senior technical expert specializing in system architecture and design, system requirements analysis, definition, integration and development for major system acquisitions.

As an IT Specialist (SYSANALYSIS), you will:
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
Specialized experience for this position is defined as experience:
- Designing, configuring, and deploying application code or software within a Cloud environment; AND
- Managing software development projects within a DevOps or DevSecOps environment; AND
- Using an Agile (e.g., Scrum, Lean, Kanban) or other iterative software development and project management methodologies.
In addition to specialized experience, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.

3. 4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
