You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Materiel Department of CDR NAVY EXPEDITIONARY COMBAT COMMAND.

Duties

You will supervise and direct the efforts of the NECC Commodity Managers to ensure proper equipping of all NECC/NECCPAC different unit types. You will provide oversight of all subordinate commands Table of Allowance (TOA) management programs. You will serve as the program manager for Allowance Change Request across all NECC/NECCPAC Force. You will consult with Materiel Readiness ACOS and Deputy Supervisor in determining strategic projects to initiate, set deadlines and allocate staff and other resources required to perform assignments.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Experience developing annual Table of Allowance (TOA) reviews and TOA development execution plans, directing execution of all funding in the approved TOA program. 2) Experience submitting Table of Allowance (TOA) Spend Plans and Buy Plans for Other Procurement Navy (OPN), Program Objectives Memorandum (POM), National Guard and Reserve Equipment Appropriations (NGREA), and projecting supplemental funding across the Future Year Defense Plan (FYDP). 3) Experience coordinating and advising future Table of Allowance (TOA) and technology working groups for Explosive Ordnance Disposal, Naval Construction Forces, Maritime Expeditionary Security Forces, and Navy Expeditionary Logistics Support Group, Navy Expeditionary Intelligence Command and/or other Echelon IV commands with materiel and equipment requirements. 4) Experience developing and authorizing correspondence and naval messages related to outfitting and development of Tables of Allowance and equipment, e.g. allowance change requests, letters of requirement, MOAs, MOUs, ISSAs, and disposition guidance. 5) Experience with budgets, Navy Expeditionary costing model in support of OPNAV, SYSCOMS and TYCOM requirements. 6) Must have superior knowledge of equipment configuration management and the integrated product support (IPS) system.
