This position is located under the Office of Human Resources and Professional Development, ATF National Academy, Arson & Explosives Branch in Glynco, Georgia.

Requirements

Qualifications

To qualify for GS-13 candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-12. This is a non-bargaining unit position. Specialized experience is demonstrated experience, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume. Examples of specialized experience include: Provides technical advice, guidance, recommendations and classroom instruction to academy trainees as well as to agency management and other senior agents, officers, or inspectors; AND Research developments in the Arson and Explosives (A&E) industries and maintaining professional contacts with members of the A&E industry and counterparts in the military and other law enforcement agencies to remain abreast of developments within the A&E fields. Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP) provides eligible displaced Federal competitive service employees with selection priority over other candidates for competitive service vacancies. Education
