This position is within the State Aviation Office and is located in the Houston Army Aviation Support Facility (HAASF), Ellington Field JRB, Houston, TX. The primary purpose for the position is to perform duties involving the maintenance and repair of power ground and other support equipment used in aircraft servicing and repairs. This position requires military membership. It is designated for an ARNG Enlisted incumbent only. Texas is one of 9 states with NO state income tax.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: To be considered for qualification, your resume must include relevant experience with beginning and ending dates of employment/experience reflecting the following: To qualify at the WG-10 grade level, your resume must include relevant experience with beginning and ending dates of employment experience reflecting at least 18 months experience or training removing, adjusting, replacing, cleaning, and installing parts, components, and accessories. Experience which provided working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic theory applying to powered support equipment and systems; and skill to replace, fit, install, and make adjustments. Experience which provided working knowledge of the makeup and operation of the various individual systems maintained and their interrelationships. Experience reading and interpreting parts lists, manufactures' repair manuals, diagrams, and electrical schematics. Quality of Experience - Length of time is not of itself qualifying. Candidates' experience should be evaluated on the basis of duties performed rather than strictly on the rank of the individual; however, established compatibility criteria/assignments must be followed. The applicant's record of experience and/or training must show possession of the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to fully perform the duties of the position.
