As a General Attorney, the incumbent is responsible for providing sound and timely legal advice and representation to GSA clients.
Location of Position: General Services Administration (GSA), Office of the General Counsel (OGC), Personal Property Division(LP).
This position is located at the Thomas P. O'Neill Jr. Federal Building, 10 Causeway Street, Boston, Massachusetts.

This position has job functions that must be executed within a specific geographic location. The official duty station is the Thomas P. O'Neill Jr. Federal Building, 10 Causeway Street, Boston, Massachusetts. This position includes routine telework and remote work arrangements.

The GS-13 salary for the Boston-Worcester-Providence, MA-RI-NH-ME locality pay area starts at $110,798 per year (based on Step 1).
If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. To qualify, you must possess all of the following:
Successful completion of a full course of study in a school of law accredited by the American Bar Association and possession of at least a professional law degree (J.D.); AND
Bar Membership: You must be an active member of the Bar and in good standing in a state, territory of the United States, District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico; AND
Experience: Applicant must have at least two years of experience as a licensed, practicing attorney, with some specialized experience in Federal Government contracts (e.g., transactional matters, bid protests, and/or contract dispute litigation). Applicants should also possess some knowledge of acquisition policy and the statutes and procedures governing rulemaking actions.
