You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN (OA) in the TRAINING SUPPORT BRANCH, OPERATIONS &TRAINING DEPARTMENT of MARINE CORPS BASE.

Duties

You will update databases with information and retrieve, extract, and use data to respond to issues. You will prepare recurring, one-time, and special reports. You will type letters, reports, tabulated material, memoranda, and other related documentation, and ensure the correct grammar, spelling, and format are used. You will determine if any additional information is needed to support or complete a purchase request. You will maintain purchasing records. You will count and annotate types and quantiles of items, and appropriately sign and receive documents. You will alert appropriate authority of materials having discrepancies. You will complete assigned inventory task/s within established time limits.

• You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
• This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
• This position requires to lift/carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector Performing technical supply management functions to a supply specialist/department; conducting physical inventories; AND processing purchase requests.
