You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the DEPARTMENT OF NAVY ASN (MANPOWER & RESERVE AFFAIRS) DIVISION of ASSTSECNAV M-RA WASHINGTON DC.
Duties
You will serve as policy analyst for quality of life programs and principal advisor to the Director (Military Community and Family Policy) on DoN QOL programs as specified.
You will provide recommendations for policy oversight of business operations, including financial trends, advisability of consolidations and cooperative agreements, and other factors pertinent to business operations.
You will create or manage policies concerning the provision of family readiness or morale, welfare, and recreation (MWR) programs.
You will supervise the preparation of analytical or external reports that depict the status of resources and operational data.
You will evaluate Morale, Welfare, and Recreation or military family programs to recommend improvements to resource capacity or capabilities.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Developing and overseeing Quality of Life programs ( e.g. Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Programs and Family Readiness and Support Service Programs) to include policy oversight interpreting, analyzing, and writing recommended courses of action on the impact of legislative and regulatory policies on Quality-of-Life programs.
