You will serve as a Lead Security Assistant (Office Automation) in the Public Safety Function of NAS PATUXENT RIVER SECURITY DETACHMENT.

Duties

You will maintain physical security of all data, personnel files, and equipment related access badges. You will review review routine correspondence. You will maintain files, revise and dispose of files in accordance with governing and regulatory procedures. You will resolve simple, informal complaints of employees and refer others to the supervisor.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Overseeing the preparation of issuing and tracking security access badges; 2) Training and reviewing work of security assistants within the assigned office; 3) Distributing and balance workload of security assistants, keeping in touch with the status and progress of the work; and 4) Verifying eligibility and confirming the need for access badge.
