The selectee of this position serves as a Information Management Specialist. You will be responsible for providing user support to USMS
Districts, assisting in the development of training programs for users, providing guidance on the operation of the USMS video retention system,
monitoring data and working with users to resolve discrepancies, coordinating with the Information Technology Division (ITD) staff to resolve
technical problems, etc.
Duties
As a Information Management Specialist at the GS-0301-13 level, some of your typical work assignments may include:
Providing regional management of audits for user supports.
Providing user support for body worn camera footage processing operations.
Recommending new information sources to assist with body worn camera footage retention.

Qualifications
GS-13 TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-12 grade level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-13 grade level. (Must submit your SF-50 that shows Time-in-Grade eligibility and reflects your title, series, and grade. No award SF-50 will be accepted).
You may qualify at the GS-0301-13 level, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Performing oversight and management of the
implementation and deployment use of body-worn cameras to all stakeholders; 2) Developing policy, standard operating procedures, and
training to facilitate the use of body-worn cameras; AND 3). Managing body-worn cameras in agency missions as technology, legislation,
regulations, and directives require. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in
the federal service (GS-12).
