The primary purpose is to serve as a first level supervisor over subordinates. Plans, directs, and manages operational and training matters pertaining to assigned refueling technicians performs aircrew duties as an aerial refueling technician/instructor in the unit type aircraft. Qualifications

General Experience: Experience which has provided a general knowledge of aircraft fuel, electrical, and hydraulic systems and components Specialized Experience: Must have at least 30 months experience or training in the following: KNOLWEDGE of aerial refueling capabilities of KS-135 and aerial refueling data for all authorized receiver aircraft. ABILITY to communicate orally and in writing to prepare lessons, documents and reports, present training and/or instruction and brief passengers and crews. KNOWLEDGE of a wide variety of systems and components critical to the performance of the aircraft such as propulsion, electrical, hydraulic environmental etc KNOWLEDGE of navigational operating procedures relative to aerial refueling tracks SKILL to assist the pilot in positioning the tankers for rendezvous with receiver aircraft. KNOWLEDGE of the methods of instruction, aircrew training program requirements, procedures and standards of performance.
