Duties

-Performs the work of a journey-level C&I Mechanic without more than normal supervision. -Applies electronic-electrical theory in a hydroelectric powerplant with a generating capacity of 100 MW. -Maintains, installs, tests, repairs, and troubleshoots electronic-electrical equipment, e.g., protective relays, SCADA, and fiber optics. -Reads and interprets electronic-electrical diagrams, schematics, blueprints, drawings, and manufacturer's instructions. -Applies the National Electric Code Standards, safe clearance procedures, and safety standards.
