This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Duties

You will perform pest detection and extermination work. You will use a computer system or similar data base to record all pest management function performed and pesticides applied. You will perform and maintain a monthly inventory of all stored pesticides. You will calculate rates, quantities, and strength of pesticides to complete proper pesticides applications. You will inspect buildings, storage, and maintenance sites for evidence of damage and infestation by pests. You will operate and maintain a variety of hand and power equipment/tools in applying liquids or powder pest control agents.

Requirements

• Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
• Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

• Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

• This is a bargaining unit position.
• You will be required to possess and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
• You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain a current Class "B" license with airbrake and tank endorsement within 1 year.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain a current State of Arizona driver's license to apply pesticides in structural and through fares within 90 days of appointment to the position.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain a current DoD Certification of Competency within 1 year from date of hire.
• You will be required to possess or obtain and maintain a current Respiratory Protect certification.
