You will serve as a AIRCRAFT ELECTRICIAN LEADER in the FLEET READINESS CENTER MID ATLANTIC FRCMA A/C DEPT OICA PROD BR of FRC SE DET MIDLANT OCEANA.
Duties
You will interpret engineering technical data such as written instructions and complex electrical schematics, diagrams, technical drawings and Blueprints.
You will have understanding of Aircraft Mechanic, Sheet Metal, Electronic, Machinist, and Ordnance trades and how they relate to the H-60 aircraft maintenance process.
You will be able to interact with support groups such as Quality, Planning, Production Control, and Engineering.
You will lead multiple artisans in the performance of work, set the work pace, and insure accomplishment of Production's goals.
You will provide training to lower level employees, aircraft electrical workers, apprentices, worker trainees, etc.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Examine repairs performed by others to ensure work meets acceptable standards, specifications, or contractual requirements.
Investigate, analyze, and resolve technical difficulties characterized by extension and adaptation of established technical criteria and procedures.
Perform final functional and operational tests of complex electrical systems, components, and accessories on F-18 aircraft as an expert with a high degree of independence.
Utilize various types of hand tools common to the electrician trade and use test equipment such as digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, digital low resistance ohmmeter, time domain reflectometer, fuel quality test set, anti-skid test set, pitot-static test set, and electric power test set, etc.
Train inexperienced artisans and assist in prototyping new modifications to aircraft structures and systems.
