The incumbent will serve as a Foreign Affairs Specialist in the Office of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Integration, International Division, AUS-200.

Duties

This position serves as a foreign affairs specialist in the Office of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Integration, International Division, AUS-200. The incumbent supports the mission of the Office of UAS Integration focused on international activities and the global leadership strategic initiative. Performs multiple, varying and complex assignments under the minimal direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced technical specialist.

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized experience may include but not limited to: Experience developing, aligning and coordinating policy positions within an organization, especially with other International Offices, other US government agencies, and with foreign organizations to formulate and implement a policy. Experience with critical analysis techniques and integration of information in order to pro-actively, strategically and creatively problem-solve. Experience working on regional portfolios for any of the following regions: Europe, Africa, Middle East, Western Hemisphere, in addition to experience working with organizations such as the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), European Commission (EC), UK Civil Aviation Authority (UK CAA), or Latin America Civil Aviation Commission (LACAC).
