Prepares and serves all types of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages from a full-service bar following a variety of established recipes. Receives payment, makes change and is accountable for cash fund. Assists in taking inventory and maintaining records. Keeps bar area clean and stocked properly at all times. Washes bar equipment, glassware, and utensils. May perform other sanitation duties, and other related duties within assigned work area as required. Must be at least 18 years old.

Duties

Ability to mix and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages by combining ingredients such as liquors, soda, water, sugar, bitters and fruit garnishes. Serves liquor, beer, and wine, and is skillful in mixing such beverages as Mojito, Daiquiri, Margarita, Whiskey Sours, Manhattan, etc. Ability to recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and to resolve the problem or seek assistance if needed. Prepares and serves bar food such as chicken wings, ham and cheese sandwiches, and premade pizza. Has skill to completely set-up a bar and to recognize impending shortages of supplies based on the volume of business and insure their timely replacement. Ability to collect tabs, by credit card or cash, in appropriate amounts and is accountable for cash and inventory for the period worked. Ability to assist with monthly inventory.

Requirements

  • Must meet Federal Employment suitability requirements and successful completion of background investigation. Background investigations are conducted using fingerprint identification and completion of background inquiry forms.
  • Must successfully pass the E-verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment.
  • You must go through a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) process that requires two forms of identification from the Form I-9.
  • May be required to pass pre-employment examinations.
  • Must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship or U.S. National.
  • A valid State driver's license is required to operate motor vehicles.
  • Must have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a Food Handlers Sanitation course, Alcohol Safety Certification and Cash Handling training, and maintain annually training requirement.
