About the Position: Serves as the Administrative Officer for the Chief of Staff and senior level decision makers in the Army Medical Department (AMEDD) to include the Office of The Surgeon General (OTSG) and the U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM).

Duties

Maintain administration of all operational policies and directives. Collaborates with other divisions and other directorates on staff actions. Review and properly staff and route all actions to ensure administrative quality and correctness. Provide administrative guidance and advice to coordinating management personnel. Implement administrative policies and procedures regarding personnel practices throughout the organization.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a 'SECRET' Security Clearance.

Education

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree.
