The following incentives MAY BE authorized: Student Loan Repayment, Advanced In-hire, Recruitment Incentive, Relocation Incentive, and/or Advanced Leave Accrual.** About the Position: As Chief of Compliance, you will supervise employees responsible for the execution of the Project Compliance, Reliability, and Training Programs in support of operation and maintenance activities Chief Joseph Dam project.

Duties

Ensures the effectiveness of the compliance programs (Safety, Environmental Compliance, Physical Security, Grid Reliability, and Cyber Reliability), and Hydropower Plant and Journey-level Training Programs. Plans, coordinates, and oversees execution of the Project’s Compliance Programs and related sub-programs. Develops, coordinates, and tracks execution of the Section operating budget and fiscal resources. Provides long range planning and policy recommendations on scheduling and modifications to compliance projects. Plans and initiates a comprehensive evaluation system for review and analysis of proposed costs, program development, and performance. Coordinates Operations and Maintenance activities to accommodate extensive construction programs for modernization of the Project. Provides the full range of supervisory responsibilities.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
