This position is located in United States Coast Guard (USCG) Shore Infrastructure Logistic Center (SILC) at a Civil Engineering Unit (CEU) Oakland, CA.
Duties
The incumbent serves as a Financial Management Specialist within a multi-disciplinary architectural and engineering team. CEU Oakland projects include new construction of CG facilities or repair, maintenance, modification, or renovation of existing facilities. CG facilities include modern and historic buildings, waterfronts, airfields, hangars, aids-to-navigation facilities, communication facilities, single and multi-family housing, industrial buildings, multi-mission buildings, support structures and all associated utilities. This position will support accounting for all CEU Oakland financial and property accounts and serves as the point of contact for customers, activity, command, and contracting teams regarding CEU Oakland financial and property accounts.

Qualifications
To Qualify for the GS-12 Grade Level: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
Knowledge of financial data system and management operations.
Planning and scheduling work of team member.
Knowledge of budget and financial management practices, procedures, regulations and precedents, policies, and guides.
Ability to communicate effectively on accounting, budgeting and fiscal management matters.
Ability to communicate in writing.
