About the Position: You will serve as the principal program and administrative support assistant for the Branch. You will also serve as the primary point of contact to manage the administrative and program support requirements of the subordinate project offices.
Duties
At the GS-06 grade level, the duties are developmental in nature leading to the full performance level of GS-0303-07. The duties are described at the GS-07 level.
You will assist in the creation of operating budgets.
Assist with fiscal and resource management, and manage overall office operations.
Exercise extreme tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers
Provide guidance and oversight in all program areas for the lake project administrative operations, including training, budget preparation, contract payment, human resources, travel orders and vouchers, government credit card purchasing, etc
May conduct audits of lake projects' fee collection programs.
May initiate Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRS) to various governmental agencies requesting authorization of payment of funds for training, classrooms, detail of personnel, and miscellaneous services rendered to, or provided
Serve as the senior timekeeper to review time and attendance records, and to resolve issues with the payroll representative.
Serve as training coordinator for administrative, professional and technical courses offered through both government and non-government training facilities.
Prepare personnel action requests (e.g., recruits, promotions, reassignments, details, reorganizations) using automated applications.

- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Proficiency Required: This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors.
