Incumbent serves as supervisor; responsible for planning, development, organization and evaluation of all services provided by Property and Supply (General Services). Services provided materials, warehouse, forms/records, medical supplies, equipment management, GSA vehicle management, switchboard operations and mail management. Incumbent reports to Administrative Officer.
Duties
Responsible for implementing and maintaining sound procedures for the receipt, verification, storage, distribution, utilization, inventory, disposal and accountability of all personal and real property, supplies, and services; motor vehicle fleet management; forms/records management, space utilization management, mail management; telephone switchboard operations, and prepares routine or special reports.
Improves human capital through planning, providing and monitoring various internal and external training opportunities.
Provides consultant services, technical assistance and guidance.
Directs and coordinates the supply management program, including materials management and warehousing; ensures appropriate and optimal utilization of available storage space, scheduled rotation of inventory, proper stocking and storage techniques.
Ensures that all purchase cardholders have had their initial, year-end and annual refresher training. Responsible for ensuring that all training records are maintained. Shall assist in developing and presenting training to educate cardholders on specific local procedures.
Formulate policies to align with Federal regulations, Joint Commission, OSHA, etc. and program requirements. Ensure continuous monitoring of communication, necessary training, and access to information or systems are effectively utilized to ensure acceptance and compliance during implementation and operational/maintenance periods.
Assures accountability records are maintained for all services.
Provides guidance and direction to the shipping officer.
On occasion may be required to perform other duties in connection with the service unit operation
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
GS-12 Grade Level: Your resume must demonstrate at least (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Examples include: Oversee the daily operation of one or more support services for an organization, including clerical services, office space, equipment and supplies, vendor management and other support services. Establish work procedures and standards to improve efficiency and effectiveness of assigned operations. Ensure compliance with established standards and responsible for reviewing and evaluating the work and performance of subordinates.
