You will serve as a Management Assistant in the Commander's Group, Admin & Clerical Services Office of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Duties

You will provide assistance in establishing, maintaining and/or providing business and financial management and administrative analysis support. You will follow NAVAIR correspondence procedures, reviews, edits and process correspondence within stringent timelines. You will support other department initiatives/mission requirements as requested. You will give support with special project tasking as needed. You will provide back-up administrative support to Command Operations Group (COG). The position is required to report to the COG office one day per week to assist with office coverage, aligning to COG processes. You will coordinate Change of Command/Retirement packages on behalf of MPD and command POCs.

Requirements

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-6/7 grade level or DG-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience: Initiating NAVAIR p-card requirements on behalf of civilian and military staff; following through with obtaining invoices from the initiator to close out purchasing requirements within NAVAIR tools; Utilizing DON Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) tool and is able to perform daily tasks associated to downloading and uploading taskers for actionable assignments throughout the department; Utilizing Defense Travel System (DTS) and is able to provide guidance to travelers and capable of processing vouchers within department timelines; Acclimated with the NAVAIR correspondence procedures and is able to review, edit and process correspondence within stringent timelines; Acclimated with government mail and FedEx shipping requirements and have the ability to process mail within stringent timelines; Accomplishing work assignments without day-to-day supervision, and knows when to seek higher level resolution when unusual problems or discrepancies occur; Working with higher level administrators/supervisors and has the ability to collect and coordinate documentation on behalf of the department with little to no supervision.
