Duties
The Building Support Technician/Forklift Operator (Day) performs a variety of maintenance, manual labor, and support functions necessary for the regular operations of the Court. Responsible for using a forklift or other equipment to load, unload, move, stack and stage materials. Regularly moves furniture and equipment to support Court functions and operations. Cleaning responsibilities include but are not limited to: washing, stripping, waxing and polishing marble, wood parquet, tile and cement floors; cleaning and vacuuming carpeted floors; cleaning marble, wood and painted walls and ceilings; cleaning windows, courtyard furniture and wall treatments. Collects and disposes of trash, recyclables and burn bags containing sensitive materials. Cleans and restocks restrooms. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Prior building support experience is required. Forklift certification is required to maintain employment. Must be able to work on ladders at varying heights; in-depth knowledge of building support services and materials including the safe handling and use of industrial cleaners and solvents; ability to work with heavy cleaning equipment, e.g. hand buffers, scrubbers, waxers and polishers, floor strippers, and rug cleaners; ability to follow oral and written instructions with minimal supervision.
Education
A high school diploma is required.
