Qualifications

What are we looking for? Master’s Degree is highly preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Counseling, Rehabilitation, Personal Financial Management or related field is required. Must have a minimum of three years experience in, or related to, career planning, employment services, personal financial management, direct advisement of students, curriculum design, and/or instructing and three years of experience that demonstrates knowledge of education concepts, methods, practices, and higher level policies relating to education services and community support for schools supporting Marine Corps families. Knowledge of educational programs relating to adult and continuing education, to include the Marine Corps Education Program opportunities, Veterans Education Benefits, DANTES testing program and other programs directly related to voluntary off duty education opportunities. Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests, learning and motivation. Must be able to operate a personal computer, printer, etc., and have current knowledge in various office computer programs and software applications. Ability to evaluate, plan, and implement training systems for both in classroom and online instruction and delivery.
