About the position:
This position will be assigned to the Gunter Lanes on Gunter Annex.
This position is a Flexible position, you can be scheduled from 0 to 40 hours per week based on mission need.
"This is an open continuous announcement. The first cut-off date for this position will be Friday, 20 OCT 2023. Then every Friday thereafter until all positions are filled. Applications must be received by 11:59 PM on Cut-Off Date will be referred to the Selecting Official. "
Duties
Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for counter operation at the bowling center. Receives cash, prepares reports, bank deposit slips, and secures cash in safe. Maintains order in the facility. Answers telephone maintains center in a neat and sanitary condition. As required, operates snack bar, and assists in preparation of food and selling of food items. May be required to clean and oil lanes, sweep, and mop floors, stock snack bar, etc. Performs minor repair and adjustments to equipment. As necessary, demonstrates basic techniques used and ensure that all safety rules are adhered to. May be required to work an uncommon tour of duty to include nights, weekends and/or holidays.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Qualifying Experience:
Practical knowledge of recreational activities, rules and procedures, and skill in the use and maintenance of various recreational equipment and facilities is desirable; however, no experience is required. Must possess skill in dealing with the public. Must be able to obtain Food Handler's Certificate.
Conditions of Employment: Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier I Level background check.

Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
