Duties
Analyzes budgetary impact of new or revised legislation, policies and procedures.
Assures that agency/command priorities are reflected in the ranking of unfinanced requirements.
Allocates funds to organizations/programs based on analysis of budget estimates, historical expenditures, projected workload and approved funding.
Provides financial advisory services for a major segment of the command budget, or for one or more test centers, based on knowledge of key financial regulations and policies.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance through the duration of your employment.
- Must submit a Financial Disclosure Statement (OGE-450) upon entering the position and annually thereafter.
- This position requires Financial Management Certification Level 2.
- This position requires temporary duty (TDY) travel up to 15% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year specialized experience which includes: 1. Managing funds for various appropriations, 2. Preparing a variety of reports and briefings utilizing systems such as the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), Excel, and Power Point, AND 3. Researching and advising management on funding requirements and challenges. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11/NH-02).
