The Juvenile New Referral (JNR) Clerk is permanently assigned to the Family Arraignment Courtroom. This is an essential position that is required to work late hours, holidays, weekends and when there are weather related closures. This position covers a high-volume calendar by which speed and attention to detail are necessary to be successful. A JNR Clerk is responsible for the smooth, orderly, and expeditious administration of all courtroom proceedings.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR GRADE 7: High School Diploma or GED plus three (3) years of administrative or clerical experience in a court, legal or office environment; or an Associate's degree plus (1) years of administrative or clerical experience in a court, legal or office environment
Preferred - Bachelor's Degree in criminal justice, public or business administration, liberal arts, or a related degree; Some familiarity with the Family Court laws, rules, and procedures is preferred.
